Chester, UK – March 24, 2023 – SHARE (Supporting Homeless Assisting Refugees Everywhere), a registered charity based in Chester and North Wales (charity number 1166530), is proud to announce a donation of £2,000 to Flintshire Foodbank. This donation will directly support local families who are currently struggling to keep a roof over their heads amidst the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Flintshire Foodbank, based in Mold, North Wales, operates food bank collection points across Flintshire, providing much-needed support to those facing financial hardship. With the cost of living crisis affecting an increasing number of families, SHARE's donation will help to ensure that no one in the community goes without essential supplies during these challenging times.
A Founder and Trustee of SHARE Adam Dandy explained the charity's wider goals and the impact of this donation, saying, "At SHARE, we are dedicated not only to helping people who are homeless or refugees but also to preventing homelessness in the first place. This donation to Flintshire Foodbank will provide essential support to local families who are struggling to make ends meet, and we hope that it will help alleviate some of the financial pressures they are currently facing. It's important to remember that every little bit counts, and our collective efforts can make a real difference in our community."
The funds for this donation were raised through the new ShareShop in Chester, a social enterprise store that directly supports SHARE's charitable activities. The people of Chester have shown tremendous support for ShareShop, and their generosity has enabled SHARE to continue assisting vulnerable individuals and families both locally and further afield.
SHARE is grateful to everyone who has contributed to this donation and encourages the community to continue supporting ShareShop and other charitable endeavours that make a difference in the lives of those who are in need.
